Do you think it is possible that a lot more leaders than just Ted Haggard are gay at New Life Church? | |
I kinda hate to ask this question, but here I go....
I was looking at footage of some of the other members/leaders of that church. I know I'm going to get raked over the coals for saying this, but a lot of them "look gay." Maybe I'm just stereotyping and there's no such thing as "looking gay." But well, they look and act somewhat effeminate. In particular, I'm thinking of this guy Ross Parsley that is actually taking over temporarily for Ted Haggard.

I apologize if this offends anyone. I realize not all gay men are effeminate. But I do happen to know several who are. I'm not putting them down at all.

1Ignoring the "Gays are effeminate" thing, I think that there are probably a fair number of Gay members of fundamentalist religions. It seems to me that many of the biggest homophobes are deeply closeted men. By being strongly against homosexuality the think they will convince people of their own heterosexuality.
